Sound modules

So I've been a vst user for a year and recently picked up a fantom rack xr. Blew my mind. Never going back to vsts. Was wondering what are some other good cheap ones with stunts sounds.

I'm partial to the Waldorf Blofeld and DSI Evolver myself. They're in the price range of a used Fantom XR. For a similar price I've heard good things about Omnisphere. It's a VSTi, but the demos impress me!

I still use omnisphere and sme other synths. But for main sounds, the fantom kills

the Korg TR rack has some good sounds and it's dirt cheap. Also you might want to look at a yamaha motif rack (one of the older models if you're on a budget). Roland JD 990 is another awesome rack synth if you can find one...

the price of them seems to be coming up 5 years ago I got one on ebay for $200 now I see them for $300-$500. Compared to software (especially Dimension Pro which imo sounds similar it seems like a bit much to spend imo. DP is only $99
