Just got my MK2 in the mail yesterday! I was only able to get a hour or so on it but I'm liking it. The new pads feel nice.

quick question I registered the software (Maschine&Komplete) and hardware but I never got an email for Massive or the $30 voucher. Is there something else's i'm suppose to do?

Anyone find the maschine sequencer hard to use. For some reason I hate making a song in it. LOL.... I got the 1.8 update for free and my edu licenese. I bought a new maschine mk II to get the new controller. It's nice but I cant stand sequencing in it. Also, I was thinking of selling the mk ii and a new maschine license and then just buying the mk 1 controller. So pretty much I have the edu license and a new license (with the new mk2 controller). I'm thinking of just using FL Studio. Thanks

I actually do, and I also can't see to replicate what may have caused such behavior either. It seems quite random, but gets corrected if I simply restart the Maschine software, or restart my computer. So that makes me wonder if it may be some sort of software issue, and not a default in my hardware. Anyone else out there who experiences the same sort of random behavior?!

Have not noticed this. Do you have a midi keyboard attached? Sounds like a midi controller sending random pitch bender or mod messages.

I actually do have my Novation Remote SL Compact attached as a MIDI controller for playing back VST instruments as well as stock Maschine sounds. But its attached via USB, not via the MIDI interface at the back of the Maschine Controller. I have never really had the Remote SL Compact disconnected from my rig to determine if indeed it may be the keyboard controller sending unwanted pitch and mod messages. But that does make some sense though.

Man I have the most annoying thing happen with my midi controllers when maschine is open. Alot of times I will have maschine open, and also will have Reason and mpk49 open/on, and Serato and my ns6 open on. Now- if I touch any key on the mpk49 or if I even touch the platters on the ns6, it automatically plays the 1st chop or sample that loaded on the 1st pad in maschine VERY slowly, pitched down, and seemingly never ending. Anybody else had something like this? It sounds like death and is annoying af.

Man, I owned the old f1/f2 maschine, and the new one is like night and day to me. The pads are so buttery smooth and sensitive. They are just crying for me to make songs. I got the white one and she is gorgeous. Everything just screams quality. I love the buttons now and that big encoder. The screen is more readable. with 1.8 the software is coming around too. I have Komplete 8 and I love the way everything integrates with the maschine software.

Baby, I think I'm in love.

Can you replace the standard Maschine knobs with any regular knobs, like guitar knobs or ones you would find on amps?

I'm just wondering because all of the ones designated online as custom maschine knobs are expensive and I would prefer smooth, black over-sized knobs.

Edit: by the way, this is for Maschine MKII in case that makes a difference.

Anyone who has the MK1 decided it's worth it to buy the MK2? Some features seem pretty cool but just not convinced yet it's worth paying that much.

hopefully multicore support. and a way to use more than just 16 pads in a group (banks?).

yes im just learning this maschine . i thought it was me . that would be nyce to have 88 pads to a group . and the next maschine should be a keyboard version . or drum maschine .. also save the slices with groups ..

you can do the drum mapping thing but the only wack thing about it is that you can only use the pads for the 1st 16 sounds. then you have to use your keyboard for the rest. don't care for that. unless im missing something!

Question: can you use a different midi interface with maschine? wanted to hook up another piece. also does the maschine hardware midi ports work seperate from the virtual midi ports?

Just figured it out. after you do drum mapping you have to lock the controller in pad mode. then use the buttons above the right screen to change the key range to play all the other sounds with the pads. YES!!
