MPC2500 loop recording
I have a question about record the MPC2500 that I can't seem to find a direct answer to.

Say I have a synth plugged in to the inputs of the MPC2500. I then start playing a sequence. Is it possible to record a loop of X bars/beats from the synth without stopping playback.

So essentially the synth is looping through the monitor until I record it, then after it's been recorded, the loop is played back. At no time do I want to stop the sequence.

This would essentially allow me to use in a live show context.

Is this possible?

Sure just leave it playing and go into overdub and add to it.
Of if you want to add the extras on another track hit the track up button while the sequence is playing and hit both record and play at the same time to get into record while Seq is playing
