Big Brass Samples

So... I know this is kinda noobish but still...

I do a lot of sample beats and sample a lot of soul but Im looking for samples like this one and I just can't seem to find them...



Can some one show me the right direction!?!

Sound like some funk/soul horns to me mate.

Curtis Mayfield, James Brown, Earth Wind and Fire.

I would do searches for them on pandora and use the similar artists to find some unheard ofs.

I would also recommend digging into showtunes from the 60's. That big brass sound was in alot of scores for movies and plays back then.

Definitely do some digging into college band recordings as well. Usually have some awesome brass compositions and riffs.

Man, get yourself a shyteload of American movies from the 30's to the 50s. Those flix are full of big band orchestral scoring. That's where those come from.
