I need of a good scratch DJ

Hi there. I'm in need of a good scratch DJ that can record about 60 seconds of various scratches of a some sort of vocal "shout" over a drum break of mine that is 97 bpm. Are there any good Djs around? I'm sure this would be a quick job, I'm just not that good at scratching. Thanks.

This may end up being a case of "you get what you pay for".
If not, I am going to start post all the things I need people to do for free lol.

If anyone wants paid for a minute of scratching they need a slap. Help a guy out. It feels good. Also how much you want? A Twinkie fed ex'd? Clown.

The poster should expect to pay for someones work and the DJ should charge. A DJ buys expensive gear and works hard to become really good and then does free work? Maybe he doesn't need to stick it to the OP but some sort of fee or trade of services should be arranged.

The same could be said for 4 minutes of music, or 4 minutes of rapping, or mixing a 4 minute song. Nobody is paying for anything in the future. I will walk into your "studio" and just demand you do ish for me! I love it!

Also a recorded minute of scratching is equal to at least 2 hours of work after setting up the track and sifting through records for the right sounds, editing ect...

A minute of scratching isn't work. Getting up at 3am and your head not hitting the pillow till 11pm is work. If you don't have it in you to help someone out with such a little task I feel bad for you. And yea if you can't afford to get shit recorded and you have no gear but you have talent your welcome in my studio for free. I don't have one though. I'm about to try and start a social inclusion project though if the label will let me use their studio for it. To get kids in who have nothin but have talent, and help them produce their own tracks. But hey keep chasin that paper on internet forums for a minutes scratching. You must be about twelve cus no dj out there Thu-Sun bankin would bother asking for a fee. If you've got time to check in on GS you've got time to help the OP out. I wish you AIDS of the sack.

If the same can be said for 4 minutes of audio work being the same as one minute of audio work, by your reckoning four minutes would be the same as an hour? Clown. You must be twelve too. How is that cracked copy of fruity loops and trying to sell trap beats for five dollars workin out for you son? Whats happened to parenting man. Oh yea.. Xbox and lunchables got the job.

Also you have to thinka about this as well....
I spent a year of my life illegally working as minor, when I was 15, to get the $1500 I needed for tables / needles. I then proceeded to spend every weekend, possible and 3 summers developing my ability. Did house parties for $50 @ 16. Many needles and thousands of dollars of records later... I was considered a legitimate option for whenever a DJ was needed.

I cant remember one person asking me to do it for free. They may have, but I honestly can't remember one instance. I had one guy offer to cop me a pair of Jordans for some work, but nothing free, that I can remember. (I didnt end up taking the Jordans compensated job by the way lol) I have done some things for free in my day, but I dont think anyone was expecting it. Anyone who has any respect for your craft will offer you something.
