| Kurzweil K2500R question, and Roland D550 question Okay, i currently have a Kurzweil PC2R rack and it has pretty good sounds. A friend is selling his Kurzweil k2500R Rack and i was wondering if there is a point to get it if i already own the newer PC2R? Are the sounds from the K2500R good? Is it worth buying? He's also selling a Roland D550 Rack, how is that thing? I've never heard of it. |

| Well...I am NOT a big fan of the K2500. It's really hard to program and it's quite a deep synth. It's not for the faint-hearted for sure. Either way YMMV. I would totally recommend the D550. That's Teddy Riley's main axe back in the Guy days. It's all over those albums or pretty much every album in the 80's and 90's. It's a pretty wide synth with a very distinguishable character. Hope this helps. |

I've got a K2000 and love it. It depends what options it comes with. What is the spec? How much does he want? Does it have KDFX? How much RAM is in there. Run the diagnostics before you buy it. On the K2000 you hold down 1,2,3 keys when you turn it on. Might be the same for the K2500. D550 is nice too. JR | |
