Am i using what i learned here properly?

Ive learned alot here, from best plugins to mastering chains and tricks, been mixing my own songs lately, not only do i save money but i love doing it.

Heres what i mostly use.

Mac Book Pro / Apogee Duet / AT4050 / Yamaha monitors / Beyer dynamics 880s

Mastering plugins: SSL Comp, KramerMPX, L3, Pow-r dither

Main plugins in vocal mix: PuigTec EQP1A , SSL E Channel, API-2500, Decapitator, Rverb, Delay, De-Esser, and a few more for the hook.

I was hoping you guys can check out the track and let me know what you think could be better and worked on. ive never really have some proper opinions on my mixes. Thanks

It's a very subjective, but I found that vocal sounds incredibly annoying, in terms of audio engineering.
I've put an EQ over the whole tune and it sounds much better (to my ears) with it.

-5.3 db cut @ 3785 Hz
+2.9 db boost @ 7954 Hz

I had to remove those because the song is still unreleased, i cut it down to a sample. this is the new master with the above tip added. im think happy with this as the final.

Just looking for any opinions on the rest of mix, compression, levels ect.
