Nice Drum Mixing Tec Video In Sonar X1

Nice Drum Mixing Tec Video In Sonar X1.

Just thought this tutorial video is informative, and the basic concept could be used in any DAW.
This video is long but informative with lots of well done information.
Hope this helps someone.
Enjoy.

I was there when they were streaming it they had some bullshit ass drums trying to defend that they used a real 808 machine so its ok lol. These guys are nice guys and all but when they said these were hip hop drums I lost it lol. Damn things sound like ant stomps.

Agreed Kev, should of had you in there my brotha, I know that thump & lows wouldn't be missing...Lol.
Being that (Cackwalk is owned by Roland,) the 808 should have been authentic and fat...

Hopefully someone could still benefit as to how a basic drum mix in Sonar could be routed / laid out.

Thanks for your response Kev.

& blessings.

You've been doing this for some time now, Hip hop is your specialty, if anything, they should have paid attention and be glad of your constructive input.

We all know how the messenger is usually treated though...

That's no excuse for them using a weak 808 drum though.
