peace! | Turn it down
EDIT: Also is it clipping as result of your processing or is the dry audio already clipped? If it's already squared not much you can do. You either like it or you dont |

its the wierdest problem | It's not strange mate . You have EQ'd and boosted it into the red. If its quiet then you need to turn other things down. This is what mixing balancing is all about.
As a rule of thumb focus on your gainstaging. Think about this in advance. When you hear people saying i like my drums at about -18db peak it is to ensure they have the required headroom. Remember in digital, as a general rule of thumb, 0 = 0.
Also you may not need to boost as much as you think - this could be your listening environment - the classic example is over doing the volume of BASS.

Panning is a differnt issue altogether. Mate i would suggest, instead of RUSHING writing...taking the time to really describe what is going on. You'll get a much better answer.

Group all of your tracks then turn everything down including the kick. Turn the kick up to where it sounds good but not in the red. Turn your monitors up if you need to hear the mix louder.

Check on the top left, where the menu is.
1. Where it's written "Help", on the right of that word, is the Master volume, pull it down. No Clipping anymore.
Hope this helps.

Real gs throw limiters on the master. Keeping it real, I run my 808s so hott right off the back burner, cranked. My kick and snare used to go cray cray but once I through and l2 or FL limiter on the master fixed everything.

fl is a piece of shit | Does it do that when you start a new session? It might be a plugin causing this. Have you tried re-installing FL? I don't have that problem with mine.

im fairly sure its the waves plugins, my whole DAW seems to lag alot when i place them on, ive also seen another dude post a similar thread to this, by having alot of troubles with waves plugins on fl.
Im transferring to pro tools very soon, so i think that shouldnt be a problem.
my laptop isnt that old either.

peace | Nothing wrong with having a limiter on there but I personally wouldn't mix anything with a limiter on the master.
Also it probably will stop it from clipping but it will also push your mix super hot. It will show it in the red and make things sound super loud and then when u take it off it sounds average.
I just know when I get a lot of beats to mix from new producers all the instruments are extremely hot n it's cause that limiter is on there. Idk why fl studio puts that on there every time u open the program.

if no kick is playing and it is still in red, it's either a plugin problem or an epic user error.
