Mixer familiar with Noah Shebib/Gadget's style

I'm looking for a Mixer who's style is similar to the "October's Very Own" productions (Noah Shebib). Especially the song "Take Care" by Drake feat. Rihanna and the general style of TheWeeknd.

I been trying to reach them but I guess they're too popular at the moment to answer any non-major label requests.

If you know you can do that please hit me up now with LINKS to your work.

Just use filters, delay and soaking wet reverbs. A nice preset for reverb is from waves true verb, called millenniumverb... just as an example.

Yep. run, jump, rebound, shoot three's, and you can play just like Kobe Bryant

I can mix your tracks just like them if your interested let me know I can email you some of my work.

But just as a tip a lot of artist always say they want a song to sound like other type of songs. But most of that stuff your hearing is not done at the mixing stage. It's done during the production of the song and the creativity to make something new n fresh. I get a lot of artist that want to sound like drake or lil Wayne with the auto tune on certain parts. But if you can't sing or at least know how to make it sound good for auto tune to do its magic it's still going to sound like horrible singing with auto tune on it.

If you want me to make your song sound different then your song then I can't do that but if you have the production down and just need it mixed then I can definitely do that.

why are people so obsessed with this guy.
all he seems to do is make sure it's like 60 bpm lo-pass the shit out of stuff and put bleeps and blops instead of drums.

Shouldn't you guys be commending the OP for going to the source first?

so you make better music and mixes than him I presume. if that's "all he seems to do" that means you have a grasp way beyond his.

people are obsessed with what's popular. that's why it's popular. some get caught up in it too much like the OP. If his song wasn't tracked as good as 40's and his song isn't as good as 40's, and the OP doesn't have Drake on his record then it will not be the same result even if 40 mixed it.

Maybe because 40 is changing the sound of mainstream rap...whenever that happens its kind of a big deal. Its not for everyone and thats ok.

Idk if you can say that. When I hear drakes new album it reminds me of some 90's rnb. So it's not really changing anything it's just bringing the old stuff that everyone loves n misses back. I love his new album for that reason but my gf hates his new album lol. She says it's slow and boring.

This has nothing to do with Noah or my opinion of him, but everything is just a recreation of old shit.

Even if his style was 1980's Hip-Hop, this is 2012, so if he could get the rest of the industry to follow him, he is still changing the game, even if it's nothing new. Then you can get into a million other arguements though... who was the first person to "Bring it back" - "who copied who" - blah blah blah.

I prefer to stay out of who is changing the game, and try to figure out how it is that I'm guna do it.

Exactly. In my opinion when you try to make music like someone else's your never gonna be satisfied. If you make music for yourself and what you like to do then at least you can be satisfied with what your putting out. Therefor capturing your own style and when your moment is up you'll be the new fresh face of hip hop.

Wonder why there's nobody like dmx, nobody like jay-z nobody like pac. These are guys that can't gimmicked. Guys that no matter what bubble gum is out they always stayed true to pushing "their" music and beliefs out there.

Anybody can be like Wayne and drake and a lot of people do. But at the end of the day your not gonna make it anywhere unless you be yourself. No one likes liars!

Dude reaches out to 40 for a track / mixing. Gets no love. Comes here as an alternative.... and y'all let him have it. LOL

As a producer don't you want people to want your sound... so they can pay you for tracks?

I actually agree with BYD im afraid..what sound? Its a filter and a BPM. Some basic synthesis.

I actually really like his stuff. listen to the instrumental..its well..average. I like the mix and i really like the arrangements. He is a really talented guy...but what he does is not that impressive technically. I do remember he once has an effect that someone presumed was using waves x-noise..which i agreed with. That was cool.

i don't think anyone here is making smart remarks or giving him dickhead comments. but he came on here reaching for help and i even offered to help him and he still has yet to reply lol. but he's still trying to reach 40, he's not here for a alternative. he probably hasn't thought that maybe 40 is a little to busy right now to deal with no namers. thats not a diss either just saying if maybe he was known it would be a different story in a sense to somebody that has a lot going on right now. honestly once he finds out their prices to mix a track im pretty sure he'll be back here searching for a alternative.

Sounds like my intro message came off the wrong way or yall just make assumptions.

Either way dont be too fast to judge. I am in no way trying to sound like Drake or "be someone else" and be fake with what I do.

I just want MY stuff to have Noah's touch on it because I know it will match well. And I say TOUCH. i know he will bring something very interesting to MY music.

I am ME and I know that our artistry blended together can take our music to a DIFFERENT level than what came out with Drake. I am not a rapper, I am a singer, and I aint doing little cute "tryna sing things" like Drake does. (No diss to him, he's talented at what he does but that's not what I'm doing).

I'm not sure of the reason of why you making music for, if it's only to play it to yourself in your bedroom or something, but you have a potential customer right here (and a talented one), and if you don't know how to seize this OPPORTUNITY than its YOUR loss.

Dont take things personally buddy. Everyone has an opinion. PM me a source of your music sound and let's talk offline.
