It is colored but also very clean. Sounds like rock and grunge to me!
Try to the P-1 too--seriously my go to DI for synths and drum machines--sounds great on vocals too!.

No doubt. I think I'm sold tho on that universal audio 4-710D for my Mpc cause of the A/D converters plus preamps.

I'm selling an SPL Channel One Strip with Lundahl in/out transformers. I won't post a link here to stay within GS guidelines so, PM me for a link if you are interested.

Along with a JJ Audio Mods Dutch or Akita might be a great combination and well within your budget.

We used the MXL V69ME with an Avalone 737 for this track...

Pantheon | Cody Miles

And the MXL V69ME with the SPL Channel One for my vocals on this track... (but no Ludahls).

I didn't mix these projects, but did the productions on them... also I got the making of Pantheon in my sig....
