I would get a couple of decent mics and 1 BADASS preamp.

Your pre's are fine. I'd get a Brauner Phanthera and a Manley Ref C. Both used can be had for under $4,000.

Get a Blue Bottle Rocket Stage 2 and an assortment of capsules for it. Should cover a lot of basis for you.

I use a 87 ai for my rap vocals... I greatly recommend it. The mic has a big and in your face sound to it. I don't find the to be as bright as many claim it to be. It handles hf quite nicely

Gefell UM70s if you u87ish sound, a lot of people actually prefer it over u87

Try to find UM 70 version, the UMT70 is transformless. I heard great things about M 930 Ts (there is M930 version which is also transformless), and I think it is a lil bit cheaper than um70 as it is cardioid only.

And about their tube mics, I really can't speak, they are too expensive I never heard them, but I do believe they sound amazing

If this is your first high end mic, the Neumann U87 Ai will cover a lot of bases, so I suggest going with that. You will like it with the pres you are currently using as well.
