Akai MPK49 Drivers/ Vista 32bit

Just grabbed a MPK49 since my beloved E-MU XBoard has been acting up lately.

My computer seems to not be able to install the drivers correctly. It reads USB components just fine but a no-go with the MPK49.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

The System
Dell: 32bit Vista Dual Core

Have you installed the disks? I believe my friends 49 worked the first time plugging it in even without the disks (minus things like transport controlls), but my 61 needed the disks for it to read.

I work on a Mac, so idk, but I would think it's probably a setting/computer issue if you have already installed the disks.

I actually had this same problem when I get the mpk49 a while back and I believe I solved it by having it search for the driver in the hard drive location (C: for example). You cant do the find driver automatically.
