| Gear Head | Mixing and Production reccomendations
Hey folx I'm new to the board and spent the past day reading going thru the 5 pages of threads in the section trying to get acquainted with the board. From what I've been able to gather there are some really talented, well-informed, passionate, musicians, producers, artists, and engineers on this board. I have been producing for almost a year. I am seriously interested in perfecting all aspects of my craft including my mixing and engineering. As was said in another thread in the forum, producing and engineering typically recquire different sides of the brain. I agree, but my financials indicate that those sides of my brain need to communicate better. So all this is to say I'm glad to be a part of this community and would to recieve some reccomendations/suggestions/thoughts about my productions. Is this good production, mixing, and engineering? My set-up is pretty simple. Here's a pic http://www.narykcin.com/studio.jpg |
