What exp boards come stock with xv-5080?
I bought a Used XV-5080 and opened it up and found 4 SRX board. Orchestral Sounds,Latin World,Techno, and Asian World cards. Just wondering if these come stock or were added?

Also anyone who owns a XV what are yall opinion on must have expansion cards?

Are all the JVs pretty much the the same? I would think getting ones for the JV 1080,2080 and 3080 would be redundant.

By the way not intrested in athe fantom boards. Just sold the fantom XR module. Had few strings, one piano I really liked and my JV-880 brass blew it away(shockingly). Besides that I hated most the sounds on it.

Those cards you have were added. I cant remember what card I have in my JV, but I am sure those cards were added. At best, the units came with 2 cards and you have 4. I still love it, a go to piece that somehow never got tired like other romplers and racks.

When I said all the JVs I meant all the cards with the JV series sounds on it to put into the JV slots of the Xv-5080.

So I cant find expansion cards that are the entire sound sets of the older JV 1080,JV-1080 and JV 3080. Only specific cards like for piano, strings, leads ect. But I heard Jus Blaze say he has the 5080 with all the sounds from the older ones he used?
Anyone know whats up?

Several of the SRX cards have the waveforms and presets from the older SRJV cards (in addition to newer waveforms and/or presets). The stock XV itself has (I believe) all of the stock JV waveforms and and a lot of the presets. You can also load JV presets into the XVs.

Interesting to hear you don't like the Fantom X. Its mostly just an updated XV. A lot of the same waveforms and presets....
