Upgrading!!!

I currently use the pre's in my RME FF 400 to push my mics, SM7b and AKG 420. I have managed to save $2,500 dollars to upgrade my mic/pre's. I record a lot of different style artist and need a combo that will produce great results for now and future use. I will however keep my other mics and purchase a Blue baby bottle as it sounds great on my voice (for drops, etc...), but after that purchase I'll still have $2,500 or so to spend. I Need some advice as it is hard to know where to start.... Thanks
