MPD18 or MPK Mini?

Hey, im new to the forum and also to makin beats. I want to start producing just for fun and dont want to spend more then a 100 bucks. Iv been lookin at the Akai MPD18 and the MPK Mini which are both within the price range. They are also available at a store locally. So i wouldnt have to pay for shipping, any other recommendations are welcome but i live in canada so i would prefer if the store is shipping within canada. Anyways iv never never used one of these midi controllers or pad controllers and im just curious which one you would think is for me?

This is probably better put here: Newbie audio engineering & production question zone (trial beta forum) - Gearslutz.com

Not trying to be condescending in any way.
