In your opinion does this sound loud enough?

I compared this to commercial music and I cant figure out how to get it any louder. even after mastering it as well as i know how to.. any suggestions?

I leave myself plenty of head room and i master with izotope ozone. and i get it as loud as i can without distortion. but how do they make it even louder?????!!!

You cannot get a really loud mix jut by pushing a magic fader at the very end.

Seems you have too much low end on non bass sounds. Cut it.
It might sound not fat enough after EQ, so use parallel compression to make it fatter.

Tame (limit) a huge spikes (look at the waveform, at the beginning of each bar when beat comes out) - they keeping the whole mix from getting louder.

Get a nice pro beats for reference, put in DAW, measure the RMS level.
So you will know how much exactly loudness do you need.

wait so your saying there are other sounds in my mix "Besides" the low end bass that's overlapping the low end bass causing that peak? like even my strings could do that? im looking at my mix. my bass is in the 20-35 range my kick is in the 40's and my strings and such are well above 100. im not sure what could be causing it to sound so muddy

Parallel comression on drums. At least on snare.

Usually spikes caused by short loud sounds, like percussion and effects.

Too much low end just eating your headroom and making your mix muddy.

Maybe it sounds amazing in terms of bassy "booms", but in pro mixes you can still hear each element of the mix, it's called "separation".

So you have a lot of EQ work to do.

Multiband compressor can process each frequency range (low, mid, hi) with different settings.
