The features are AWESOME.

I really want one, putting the hyper saw is an excellent idea to make it relevant.

Can you watch the video in this thread? I believe it is Analog - it says "Analog Synth" on the back. With that said I am writting a speech right now and can't watching the video either (stupid GS keeps distracting me bad enough as it is )

Yeah 100% analog signal path.

And to give you synth boner:
  • Monophonic synthesizer
  • 100% Analog Audio Signal Path
  • Steiner-Parker Multimode Filter (LP, BP, HP and Notch)
  • Voltage Controlled Oscillator with Sub-Osc
  • Oscillator Mixer (Sub, Sawtooth, Square, Triangle, White Noise, Audio In)
  • LFO1 with 6 waveforms and bi-polar modulation destinations
  • LFO2 with 3 vibrato modes
  • Brute Factor™ delivering saturation and rich harmonics
  • Ultrasaw generating shimmering sawtooth waveforms
  • Metalizer bringing extreme triangle harmonics
  • Two ADSR Envelope Generators
  • 25 note Keyboard with Aftertouch Rugged Aluminium Enclosure
  • External Analog Audio Input
  • CV In/Out controls: Pitch, Gate, Filter, Amp
  • MIDI In/Out with 5-Pin DIN connectors
  • USB MIDI In/Out
  • 1/4” Audio Output and 1/4” Headphone Output
  • Gate Source Selection: Audio Input, Hold, Keyboard
  • Arpeggiator:
  • 4 Modes of Arpeggiation
  • 4 Octave Range Control
  • 6 Time Divisions
  • Swing Control

And it seems that the brute factor is the signal reinjected through the circuitry a second time, yummy.

:O - Multimode, saaturation, 2 LFO - 2 osc - ARP, CV :O this things looks mental! Like a bass machine! What wave forms and modulation options ? Any idea? Pulse - pulse width modulation?

I HAVE MY EYES ON THIS - :OO

Also 2 envelope? Is that just an AMP and filter envelope?

This thing is the first little puppy i have seen in a while - I WANT TO HEAR IT NOW!

The modulation routing looks a little limited..Trying to work out if onlt those paramaters on the LFO can be modulated? It has pulse width etc..if it had a sequencer we could all make patches like Ayo technology :D Sid style!

Vibrato? Is that Rate of LFO i am assuming..

Does it sound east coast like a moog? Or colder like the german modulars? How about the modulation? tell me more? What's the arp like?

Yeh i wonder about the feel of the keybed too..I didn't expect this from arturia..Then again they have been modelling great synths for a long time! THIS IS REALLY EXCITING!

I'm a little confused by how many osc also..says two with sub? But how would that work? how do you bring osc into the mix? the top portion appears to list a little differently also..the shape of the LFO?

Its a lot smaller than I expected, however the build is solid and the keys have a useable synth action. Sonically it has nothing to do with that smooth moog sound that we are familiar with. The MiniBrute has an aggressive sound thanks to the Hypersaw, and fits really well with modern electronic music like Dubstep. I barely tapped into the arpeggiator but i loved the fact that there was a tap tempo button on the front panel and that the arpeggiator was very simple to operate. I wouldnt say that this is a board to get if you want to go insane with modulation routings as you would on an Andromeda but the basics seem to be covered. I will probably dig into it a bit more on Saturday.

Thanks dude. Please do! I like the fact it doesn't sound smooth. A different flavour! Im excited...! when you get another chance..would be good to know modulation routings..also how many osc can be used in a single patch? ..if you're not using one can it be used as an LFO etc..those little secrets :D

I think it's a complete different beast. This is just a little guy with a big bite..from what F has said it does not have an east coast sound..Judging by the Osc etc ..Different!

Im not a fan of the slim to be honest..I am a fan of MOOG though! the voyager :D and older..

I had a Moog Little Phatty, this MiniBrute sounds totally different from it. They may work together in a complimentary manner.

This thing definitely looks sexy but I can't stand dubstep and that saw sound for the bass they usually use. Did you hear it produce any other types of sound you can hear in more hip hop based music? I know thats general, I guess I mean deep sub bass, nice leads, etc

I don't like how people try to shove things in a box....

This is only a "dubstep" synth if you use it as such. There is a place for this thing in Hip Hop... You just gotta make it work.

It isn't that hard... I can only think of what Swizz would have done with this on those late 90's/ turn of the millennium tracks. Or what Suave House would have done with it.

I just wanna know when it's going to be released.
