Analog EQ

as far as along gear goes, at what frequency do the highs begin to roll off?? is it 16k where the air is? or is lower??

There is no "spot" where analog gear starts to roll off. A piece of gear could have no high frequency's over 1k if the designer wanted it that way - it could have frequency's over 25k if the designer wanted it that way.
