FL Studio Export Problem

Didn't quite know where to post this, but as it's a hip hop track I was making I'll post it here.

I'm having a problem with exporting mp3s/ wavs on FL Studio all of a sudden. I just finished making a track this evening and went to export it. However, when I play the mp3 back, the synth is totally out of sync with the beat?

It's happened twice now that I think of it (now and my last track). Does anyone know why this could be happening and what I could do to fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Which synth is it? It might just be that specific synth company that's causing problems. Is it trilogy by any chance?

No, it's actually the Korg Wavestation. Any ideas why?

I've had that problem with the Wavestation before, and that's why I don't use it anymore. I'd say you need to export everything but the Wavestation, then export the wavestation by itself, and then cut it properly in another DAW so it can fit timing wise. yep, a lot of pain, but it's worth it if you already have it in the session.

record it in Edison realtime then align it in playlist as audio clip.

Are you exporting the whole track while the Wavestation is still coming from it's original source? If so, that's why. I had this issue with proteus before... If I export a track, the proteus synths/sounds are completely out of sync.

What I do is export the proteus, or in your case, the wavestation sounds seperately as WAV. Then re-import the sound into your DAW and place it/align it/cut it wherever it needs to go. Then export your track as normal. Then your fine.

Let me no if that works.

bad practice. Why have to cut that part\realign when recording the part in edison realtime spares that?

When I export WAV from FL I get a normal wav that isn't choppy..so I don't need to cut it really - I just cut any silence/empty space away... otherwise it's fine.

Normally if I export without exporting the plug, it plays out of time like the OP said.

Not really bad practice, it sounds the same as when I have it in the DAW..

I think my instructions may be misleading; we seem to be saying the same thing when I read your comment back, lol. Apologies.

I don't record into Edison however.. I usually export the wav by recording it just into a folder straight as a WAV. Then re-import as audio clip. I think we are saying the same thing

FL does this sometimes that's one of the reasons I stopped using it.

Lol I'm sure all DAWs have their fair share of problems.
