Do You "Stereo", Multiply or Hard-Pan Your Drum Kits?

How do you guys work your drums? Do you double up, or multiply any one shot kits? or beef em up in a mix by hard panning a cloned channel to left, and another to the right (to create a wider stereo field)? Or do you usually keep your one shots simple, like just keeping a single channel centered? Just curious, to see how many utilize these types of techniques.

Doing this without any other processing won't make them any wider ... just louder.

Panned dead centre for me. Some times I send the snare to a stereo delay which might be panned left and right.

Generally i like my drums mono straight down the middle. I usually automate panning on the percussive elements. This includes pans in tracking as well as automating the tope end of the frequency register. I like my KICK and SNARE in the middle.

No hard rules here..but if i want to stretch the size left and right ill usually just use hats/cymbals wind chimes whatever to give me that depth.

Kick and snare in the middle, maybe the snare slightly to the side depending on the track. Hats and Perc get panned individually.
I might pan kicks, but usually just snare, when I'm layering drums tho.
