Nice Joint and Her vox sound superb. I think at the end of the day it's about the overall chain... Got a bunch of "rappers" not engineers trying to make pro sounding stuff with little experience or equipment.... Just will never happen. Make scratch songs and go into a pro studio with someone that know his/her shit and record on good gear.

Yes right there!

And people need to make note on how good she sounds when she sings (pitch and tone), that's why she's popular, and also she looks great too.

A good example of a guy who sounds the same even on an sm7b. I mean it's not a coincidence why he became popular, he has such a distinct style and great delivery. Really tight delivery!

or:

And gotta get some TO love again, Kardinal is pretty sick, and incredible songwriting:

Listen to the end of the song, when the music fades out and they sing it acapella, now that is ridiculous!

Conclusion, if you can't sound good, it ain't the mic!

Thanks for the input guys, I'll try some APIs. I'm really hoping that this mic suits her. She lives in New York so I can't try it out on her before she gets here, but we have 4 months to produce and write the record and 2 months of her in LA to track it. More than ample time. Thanks again!
