| Lives for gear | Sorry, but what about Metric Halo MIO? Definately an incredible converter with drivers you can only dream of!

| Guys I'm asking myself the exactly same question, except that I have to choose between : RME FireFace 400 /800 Lynx Aurora 8 /16 Mackie Onyx 400F Focusrite Saffire What's the one known to be the most stable, and the most cpu lightener ? And what's the won that gives you the best possibilities for routing your audio ? |

| lynx crushes the competition... better than apogee and concidered pretty close to most high end converters... if you're going the aurora route, you get enough i/o's which is the only reason i ditched my L22 card... i have rme now and happy with it, but it's definitely not lynx. |

| Lives for gear | ohh yea i wuz gonna snatch the l22, so i guess the lynxtwo a or c model i gotta buy. But cant the ls adat jumpoff hookup to the l22. I heard they all sound the same. Thats y i was gonna do the rme 9632 n 9652 n use em wordclock sync; but my mentor (old white demigod of mixing) told me lynx is the way to go if im gonna front that much dough. |

| fireface has awesome converters and way less $$$$. with the lynx, you need to buy a pci-card as well. |

| yes the ls adat card will work with the L22. all of the lynx 2's have the same converters. the aurora has new converts and they sound ridiculously crazy. to me they sound just as good or better than the lavry blues. and it's a better value. it's hot. |

| Lives for gear | Aight I got that 9652 shipping by friday, firefaces are on back order so I may still cop 1 I don't know. But what else I need to use this card becuase it has no analog inputs. I wanted 8 channels of da shit aka best for the pocket via lynx aurora 8 n if the dough proper then the 16, but I need something for now to get a decent aka damn I can work with this for now via 8 channels. Also what's the wordclock joint I hear bout what does it mean and do, is it like smpte clock or something and do I need 1 of those lucid wordclock joints to benefit this. Thanks |

When it comes to the sound of the converters i would say: RME = transparent and crystal clear Apogee and Lynx = Flavour and extra glue Metric Halo = Between them: Transparence with some glue (To me so mmmmh!) Oh by the way: I am not a trader and not working for any of these comapnies!
