instructional books / dvds

Not a beginner... FAR from an expert. im thinking i could really benefit from some instruction that is specific to modern dance / hiphop music. I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions as far as good reads or dvds to purchase. Im lookin for information on primarily the engineering aspects of the music, as opposed to some lame book that walks me through the functions of a drum machine. Dont want a book for newbies, also dont want a book that is specific to professional level studios. any ideas?

Cool

So you are going ahead with it then.

Do you know when it will be available roughly?

I'm hoping the end of the month (April)... I'm going to launch the pre-order page at midnight.
