If I remember right from the show, it showed them mixing on a Neve. Quick shot of puffy mixing (actually just doing a couple of drops and telling the mix engineer to make the kick more punchy). Sweetwater sold them all the gear for the production, vox recording room you saw on most of the show. There was an article somewhere about it....try searching the net.

Just for kicks, this is some of the Gear they had in their house for recording. http://www.sweetwater.com/feature/mtv.php I guess once they got the songs they liked, they then went to a big studio to re do them. |

The album from what I understand was recorded at Daddy's House... The last time I was at Daddy's House, they had a Neve VR in one room, and an SSL in the other room. They also had the typical outboard gear setup, I remember seeing an 8 channel Millenia HV3 in the live room that they use for the drum kit.. My best guess is they used a Neve or Avalon mic pre (I remember seeing a lot of Avalon in the rack at the time)... Mic was probably a U87 or C800G.. Sweetwater gave them the home studio gear, but Daddy's House was built many years before this show...
