| 2500 replaces 2000xl ? Did they stop production of the 2000xl ? Who here thinks Akai made the 2500 to replce the 2000xl ? |

| The 2500 is Akai's new standard mpc. The 1000 is their entry level. Who knows when or if they'll release a flagship. |
