| Gear nut | here is my glory... Usually Im using this almost every rap project.... Shure Ksm44 to ISA One to EMu-1820M to Waves L1(mono) recorded otherwise dry.... On processing main vox, usually URS EQ, (neve clone or api linear), to compressor (Waves SSL Chanelstrip or Waves API compressor), to reverb (waves IR-1).... Back vocals very similar setup, different settings and usually an added Blue Tubes Stereo Widener or Waves doubler and sometimes. Adlibs are usually (URS eq, URS 1980 compressor, stereo widener, Mod delay or PSP delay, blackwater reverb, panned extreme R and L. as far as fader settings...usually mains are set around -2db to -6db, backs around -20db and adlibs around 16db.
