Looking for Engineers to MIX a Session

Hi Slutz,

For the past year I've been visiting this site and have overloaded my brain with information. I've taken the information and mixed a song some months ago (which was literally my first pro tools session ever).

I was wondering if anyone here could take a try mixing it. This would give me an oppurtunity to compare and maybe learn something.

Here is a youtube link to the song:
YouTube - Dream Team - Where's Our Conclusion (Feat. Bianca & Prod By Ed Hendy)

If anyone is interested, I'll put the session files onto dropbox.

Sorry, my english isn't very good.

Awesome I'll upload the files when I get home from work.

By the way I've never done this before, so should I consolidate all the individual tracks?
Or should I just drop the whole pro tools session?

After you removed all unused audio files, save session copy in, choose all audio files check box in lower right corner of the save copy as screen. Choose destination. Send that.

Cool. I'll see if I can give this one a shot. There is another mixoff up there with Ryst but I can't mix that song. I just don't like it at all. I think this song should've been chosen for the mixoff but you were a little too late. Anyways, I'll report back. Nice song by the way.

Thanks, this song is my baby. I'm actually a little embarrassed at how many hours I've spent on the composition and production of it. It's the first song that I've actually completed from start to finish.

Welp...here's mines. Would've been nice if ya left the reverb off the piano and pads...

EDIT: I should probably turn up the chorus a bit...

Yeah they were done in a Logic session which I don't have any more!

But I like your mix! There's a bit too much reverb at times but I like how you decided to pan the instruments.

I'm gonna download the session, listen to this reverb you all are speaking of & try to remove the verb and post those files for y'all to replace them maybe. Not gonna mix the song tho.

Win by a landslide imo. Only less backvocals for my taste.

Cool Song. I like open joints with not a lot in it.
If I was you, I would have her re-sing her parts and record her with Auto Tune when she's singing it. Her notes are really shaky and that doesn't sound professional and kind of brings down the chorus. Just my thought anyway.
I threw on some Auto Tune and did some other basic stuff. Not everything I would do to a real mix but, gives you an idea at least. Also, gives others too so they can step up their game up as I think there are some really great mixers on Gearslutz.

Here's my mix, enjoy.
