Men no longer men.

Grown men act like f-ing girls.

It makes me sad. Did y'all see that episode of the shop where dude didn't want to sweep the floor because he didn't want hair on his sneaks? Or dude didn't want to put a jacket on beacuse of the heat?

WTF is that? Be a damn man. Sweep the floor if thats your fukking job, dude. Put a jacket on if thats required of you. What kinda pussy-ass shit is that?

this kinda behavior is EVERYWHERE. Grown men all act like young girls now. All their fitteds gotta be sparkling, creases gotta be creased, you get a stain on your air forces, gotta get em cleaned, etc... And diamonds. I guess we got the jiggy era to blame for this? i dunno, but back in the day, diamonds were for women. they went around your moms neck, her wrist. She wore them on special occasions because they were expensive and you werent necessarily the richest kid on the block. you got a diamond set in gold or platinum for your engagement ring... to give to your GIRL... concentrated carbon was associated with females, not males. now what is this? if you took a kid today and sent him back 20 or so years, he'd probably be labeled as a homosexual... nttawwt, of course. ymmv.

but if you're a man, act like a fukking man, man. be about your business. getting your shit together, not focused on how you look every damn minute of the day. thats what jr. high school girls deal with.

don't get it twisted.

i'm not saying to dress in rags.

but leave the lip liner at home.

grown men today can't be bothered to do what they have to do. they always gotta find an easy way.. a non-laborious route, an easy half assed road. they dont wanna work for their shit.. can't be bothered to. they dont wanna put the time in to learn to mix right, using whats readily available, or promote themselves or work for their craft. their level of hustle is not HALF of what our fathers generation were. they don't wanna DO THEIR JOB... peoples eyes are fixed on what jay z has. seems too many of us live way too vicariously.

stop it.

and why are people so fuking sensitive? ESPECIALLY in nyc. no one can let shit go. ESPECIALLY in hip hop. someone does something to you, you gotta double it. someone cut you off you gotta run him off the road. someone spits 8 bars at you, you gots ta kill em.

be a mufukin man.
be about your business.
do you damn job.

How does your theory encompass people who are gay or gender ambivalent?

Why are you soo upset about what the next mans doings (DO YOU!!!)... First of all it's TV... this is America... and every barbershop I've been to is the same... very entertaining...

Did you catch your girl chewing a pretty thugs gun or getting piped down or something...

Plus I can't believe all you have to talk about is cats not wanting to sweep the floor... In this forum I'd think you'd at least ask about the studio owners discography...

I dont care who your are... if your at work and a major cable network is filming a TV show... you dont want America seeing you sweep a floor... let alone getting screamed on for not doing it... while everyone is laughing, giggling and telling jokes...

These cats pay weekly booth rent to cut heads... bring their own supplies... and it prolly wasn't in their Job Description... true they should respect their work environment... but if the shop owner or manager can't pay someone 5 bucks and hours to do the job thats on them...

Imagine if you we in the middle of a tracking session and the recording engineer told you to hold on because the studio owner told him to stop what he's doing and make a fresh pot of coffee...

As for not getting your kicks dirty... well at least they are clean... as far as not wearing a smock... it was summer time and the AC was broke...

To me... it sounds like the Owner isn't handling his BI... sounds like he's in the studio and pops up everyonce in awhile to collect money, bug out and bitch...

I wish unswept floors were my biggest problems...
