Thread Starter | Akai S1000 Anyone?? Does anyone use an s1000 in there setup? Is there much difference in it's sound from the other 16 bit Akai's?? |

| I have one in my attic in New Orleans. It's pretty similiar. I think the s950 has better filters but MANY MANY MANY records were made with S1000s |

| got 2 sitting in my closet collecting dust now... I appear to be addicted to ak.sys & the S6000's front panel.

| One thing to keep in mind is there is no resonance on the filter. That being said I got a lot of work done on one of these and a juno 106 back in the day. |
