E-40's Tell Me Loop

I want everyone's opinion of E-40's "Tell Me When to Go" song. I started listening to the song, and I noticed it's the same drum loop through out the whole song with absolutely no changes. At first I didn't notice.

Since I lived in the Bay Area, a lot of people I knew up there really likes the song. I guess it's because of the bump, slang, lyrics, sample, etc..... They weren't looking at the song from a beatmakers point of view.

I just wanted to know what ya'll think of the song and production of the song.

no musical elements either

I forgot to say there isn't one music element in the song either. To me, I find it interesting that you can make a good song without absolutely no changes or musical elements. My friend Mike, a fellow beat maker here in Vegas told me it's all about the lyrics on that one, and I agree.

That song is a huge hit in the Bay Area, because it sums up whats going on in the region right now. Its got all the slang of the day, with two of the hottest rappers from the area. The beat might be simple, but it hits HARD, put that song on at any Bay Area party, and fools will start gettin hyphy (which is like crunk, but bay style)

By the way, Lil John produced that beat.
