Neve: Any good?

OK, point well taken.

I wont do it. I'm convinced all of you are 24/7 angels who'd never dream of such a thing.

Relax. As you were.

i wouldnt do that cuz if the artist blows up and thinks that the work yall did previously contributed to some of his current success then he might wanna work with u again...if he finds out u sold his personal information...he may have a jaded eye toward working with you.

People, famous or not, come to you to provide a level of service and should expect a degree of confidentiality. Also if I were to go around saying shit like, "Yo, check it out, Dr Dre blew his nose into this napkin." Then that reduces me to the ranks of groupie/wanabe status. Do what ya got to do though.

The only information you should be disclosing to any members of the public is the number to his management. You don't release personal contact information without a persons consent.

Who the hell would want to do business with a guy like you in the future? Sounds like you're the type of guy that would bootleg master tapes.

don't do it man. If i was that artist i would definitely take offense to that, not to mention not work with you again.

This is just a very shady thing to even think about doing.

I would agree with djui5, i would erase this entire post ASAP, for your own sake.

And good luck, looks like you'll need quite a bit.

another great idea: why dont you hide a camera on your studio, you could sell the video and buy some nice gear! Good luck for your audio paparazzi career.

I got videotapes of federline freestyling in the studio, those would fetch hundreds of thousands from paparazzi mags/tv but would I ever sell them? Hell no.

Yes, the point was well taken. I didn't respond because I had a day full of sessions. My clients love and respect me, and keep coming back. Knock on wood, it keeps my studio business quite busy. You all can try and bash me all you'd like, but I do good respectable work and have a good reputation providing excellent service.

If I was of a criminal mind, I would never go public with a question like that. I'd ruthlessly go straight to Ebay.

I was hoping it would illicit some well meaning, humorous look at the industry we work in get the view of those in the trenches. You never collected anything and wondered of it's value?

I wish I had a lot more free time...like yoos guys!

I wonder if the moderator will take away my delete option on this post also?

He should consider sending them to the tabloids himself if they will fetch that much cash.

Maybe not, but you should share them with us so we have even more reasons to laugh at him.

No disrespect to you, but Mr. Fed is a joke.

Dude wanted to sell on ebay a personal item w/ phone number, email address etc. that a client had given him. That client is now or will be in the near future a big star. The board has clearly disaproved.

It was never my intention to bash or insult anyone. A question got asked on a public forum. I chose to publicly post my opinion.

I'm sure everyone has had a lapse in judgement at some point in life.

do many celebrities keep their phone number that everybody has from when they were just a mere human?? i feel like after the first week, their phone would blow up by so many people coming out of the woodwork, they'd have to change it anyway....

we had jlo at the studio like maybe six months ago, and we got calls from tabloids offering money for pretty retarded info... like "was mark with her?" i was telling one of the engineers "yo man, if i could collect a couple hundred bucks just to be like, uh yea he's with her they seem happy, i be pretty damn tempted!" i think it would feel kinda sleezy, though, taking money for something like that, so i probably couldnt go thru with it...

...unreal.....wayda go 88! I'm sure they'll have no idea who you are or that you posted this and of course...noone really reads internet forums......

Even 'in jest' that's pretty low man...confidentiality, trust, reliability, mainstays of most service industries, let alone the music business...Not stuff I particularly would choose to mess with...
