Try doing a search. This topic has been beat into a bloody unrecognizable pulp.

I just purchased URS Compressor bundle, and I have to say that only using it for about 15 minutes, I can tell that this plugin is going to be my "go-to" compressor. As far as EQ, again you can't go wrong with URS. Sony Oxford EQ kicks ass as well. I also have to mention EchoBoy from SoundToys. This delay plugin blows doors on any hardware or software delay unit I've ever heard. Talk about sounding analog. Hell, I like all the SoundToys plugins. Filterfreak, PhaseMistress, etc. Another honorable mention would be McDSP. They're plugins are awesome and very resource efficient. Meaning they don't suck up all your CPU power. |

My recommendation would be to not spend too much on plug-ins. Some of these plug-ins go for outlandish prices, and I don't think many of them are much better than what you can get for free or from companies like PSP Audioware, Elemental Audio and Voxengo. But, I'm sure I'll get some disagreeing with me on that one.

A FRIEND OF MINE SAID THE Voxengo PLUS'S ARE PRETTY AWSOME. THEY ARE BETTER THAN WAVES. I THINK HE'S RIGHT. THEY SEEM MORE POWERFUL THAN WHAT WAVES HAS TO OFFER. I WENT THROUGH ALL OF THEM AND I WAS KINDA DISSAPOINTED. I WILL TRY THE VOXENGO AND UNIVERSAL AUDIO ONES' FIRST THE BUT THE SONY OXFORDS SOUND INTERESTING. WWW.THECRAFTBEATS.COM |
