You want to find a guy on GS named Rizeup7. If you'd like I can pass his contact along.

Thank you Storyville.

Colton, I am looking to record. But I need someone that can actually help me develop as an artist. Call it a partner if you will. I am looking to build a relationship and accomplish greatness. I live in Scottsdale, where are you at in AZ?

Didn't sound like a solicitation for unpaid work to me...

@OP - Sorry if I misinterpreted, Rize is a great person to go to if you have some cash - although he's not expensive.

Actually, on the subject - you should check out Random. He's the #1 Rap Artist in Arizona on Reverbnation, and currently has the #7 Best selling Hip Hop Album on Amazon.com. He's a good friend and long-term client, who I'll be performing shortly at SXSW this year.

Phoenix has some VERY talented musicians/ producers. Some of my favorite are all involved at one church, Pilgrim Rest. Among them are the music/choir directors, Roney Jones and Buddy Strong, and a very good producer/ artist Darron Battle.

Roney is a gospel/ R&B artist and producer who has worked on projects for Jennifer Hudson ("Stand Up"- additional production, keyboards) and the NBA (All Star 2009 performance with John Legend and Juanes).

Buddy plays the keys on Usher's tours (since Confessions, I believe) and has several placements, including doing interludes for Usher with Johnny Najera.

Darron can do anything from gospel to underground hip-hop.

I actually recording a few things with Roney in February that I produced and have sent them out to Ken Lewis to get mixed. I'll put them up here when they are done if anyone is interested.

All the best to you out here in the Southwest!
