Personally, I love the vibe of these home/estate studios much more compared to the ultra sterile, sun-less, blacked out cave like atmosphere studios I've come across in the past.

I see about 4 neve pres, a couple tube techs, a 2000xl, and I think an asr 10 on the left.

Looks like a cool spot to work in but I don't see any acoustic treatment in the pic.

Is there some in the corners, ceiling, or back wall or do you just know the room and monitors really well?

Anyway, looks cool. Rock-star-ish.

That rug is probably one of the more pricey items in that room.

That is some old deluxe luxury type shit. Pop those big doors on each side of the fireplace and let the breeze flow in. You know they down there eating good and just letting the ideas flow. Looking forward to the results.

You mean I need to set up in my Nana's lounge to run tings? Knew I was doing somethin wrong.

I actually don't know what to think of that though, apart from a bunch of nice gear set up with a whole lot of creative jammin space goin on.

Fun times

Mixing in there might be a bit of a challenege. But I don't really see the issue if you are only really tracking vocals. Just hang some blankets over gobos and you are good.

Looks a lot like my front room at home..... not that that's a bad thing..

It's the music that counts at the end of the day.....

How ever you get there it's important that you arrive!

Dope.

Reminds me of RHCP with Rick Rubin recording Blood Sex Sugar Magik in a house. It looks like a great creative space to work in. I would imagine the atmosphere is great. Relaxed.

@Mike Dean (and shamelessly off topic): Could you hook me up with Elly Jackson?!
