How to get the Synth Pitch Bend/rise in Logic 6

Hey all,
I hav not been able to get this to work in logic and it seems like a small task. Anyways I am running lofic 6 and I want to automate a pitch bend in any one of the softsynths.

I have tried to draw a curve for the "tune" parameter in the sequencer automation. I have also tried various LFO's say in ES1 and ES2. It seems that this should been faily simply. Can someone please break this down for me or just PM and sort me out.

Peace
Shah

Pitchband is MIDI information, not automation information. Use Hyperdraw in Matrix window for pitch bend.
