I have never came across any mixing dvd for just hip hop and r&b. Although, Charles Dye's, "Mix It Like A Record" was a pretty good dvd-if you are working with TDM. There is also a mixing dvd form sample kings. It's okay IMO..

The Charles Dye Video is cool. But I run Nuendo so its all Vst for me.But Im lookin for something like that, but with rap engineers mixing down are tweaking some sounds to get them fat like Oprah used to be.

Yep Charles Dye's Mix it like a Record is about as close as it gets right now but there's no reason it can't cross over to Hip Hop. It's just basic mixing techniques that can be applied in any situation. You should check it out and see for yourself!

I read somewhere that DJ Quick came out with a dvd about making a record from start to finish. I don't recall seeing it anywhere, but it might be worth a look.

Hmm that sounds fun, but i have not been able to find that DVD, though i do remember seeing a video interview somewhere with him in the studio and he was starting to mix a track during the interview.
