drums in fruity loops......swing

For those of u who program drums in fruity looops, here is a question:

I wonder, if u know a way where i can "swing" my snare and kick drums differenty in FL, without having to manually position the notes in the piano roll.

Eg: I want to swing my snare 5% and swing kick at 8%

It seems that i can only swing all the drums together, not seperately....Have u guys found a solution to this (Besides manually shifting notes)?

I haven't tried it but I think you can just put them in different patterns and swing the patterns differently. What I mean is that in FL you can have a pattern with just a Kick and one with just a Snare and play them (layer) at the same time in the song arranger.

You would then set the swing for the different patterns differently if FL allows that, again I haven't tried it. Patterns are not just for full "beats". I often have a pattern with just a single crash in it so I can drop it anywhere in a song. FL's song arranger is like a multitrack audio player, each "lane" can play a series of patterns whether they are full beats or single instruments.

Layer as many patterns as you want to arrange your song. Beautiful layout.

I usually try play them the way I want using Midi with no quantize. Then I go into piano roll and select "quantize" and mess around with the different pre-sets till I hear what I'm lookin for. Theres some good mpc type swing presets in there. That keeps me happy.
