Question my first rap/hip hop MIX. comments?

my first rap mix ever. so I'm laying it out here for you to tear me a new one.
please ignore all performance errors and focus on the mix and what sucks and how to improve it.
This project was meant to be completed in 2 hours from initial concept to final master. Ended up taking more like 6

Yes, I'm new here and have a low post count. I've usually over at HC and they have no "RAP" area. I'm happy to give back when the opportunity presents itself. Thanks!

crap, sorry. I should have known. Thanks! I'll post it there.
Do people actually give you feedback in large threads like that, or is it just a black hole?

beside the whole thing sounding slightly cynical and like a not very funny comedy act, the mix is flat and boring... work on the dynamics.. it lacks excitement.. the bassdrum is too small..highlight the "1" and make it punch in your stomach..

Thanks for the honest feedback. It is MUCH valued and appreciated. Without hearing the truth, we can't learn and grow.
Yes the song was more an experiment than attempt to be funny OR good at all.

What do you normally mix? It really sounds like Pop Hop made by people who normally make country music.

Thanks for more feedback. Wasn't really a joke, just turned out kinda funny with no guidelines. I can see some Weird Al in there.
The object was to complete a song from initial concept to master within 2 hours. It took 6 :( But was a great learning experience. So, not a lot of work was REALLY put into it. I normally mix POP and it usually takes 2 days for a complete mix. So writing, recording, mix and master in a half day was too fast. But it was fun shooting John Mayer

The synth sound is nice, drums are nice, the beat it swaying all over the place, the timing is not consistent, the arrangement need work before you can even consider it a '' Hit Song''. Try submitting it to someone who's doing film, may be a comedy...anything is possible.
Peace & blessings.
