Thread Starter | Mapping a mpd32 to battery 3
I am new to the MPD, and the manual that came with it doesn't help much. How do i get the knobs on my mpd32 to work with battery3... say the tune knob. I can easily press the "learn" button on battery 3 to synchronize with the pads on my mpd32. But how do i do that for the knobs and faders? |

battery mappings work on the cell level, there is no generic mapping for the entire program that you can make to control every cell. If you create a mapping for battery parameters it will apply to which ever cell you currently have in focus during your "learn". This pretty much means you cannot achieve a true 1-to-1 correlation between knobs on the MPD, and battery functions. This is simply because the MPD does not have enough control banks to store mappings for every cell in battery and there is no communication between battery and the MPD to indicate focus.
