Thread Starter | thanks for the clarification Ryan, and yes I hear you. But like I said previousely in this thread I'm far from new to music, I've been making beats for more than ten years, sample based stuff, played stuff, mixing both...I know what I like and what I want to do. I'm not learning japanese from scratch, it's more like I already speak "basic street japanese" but want to learn the academic version to open up my palette and be able to work faster on more complex things. I'm actually experimenting with a "common chord progressions chart" I found on the internet... man that stuff is great, I can work a lot faster, and that stuff is not complicated, now the jazz key center shifting seems a bit more complex but hey, I'll take the time to fully understand that stuff too... and the rest, cause I got a lot to learn still, I just scratched the surface. btw for ppl interested chek out these links Common Chord Progressions also these vids are nice (even if she use a more simplified circle of fifth than the one I know), her other vids are nice too. |
