Smile How to copy 1 loop for 1000 bars in adobe audition

hELLO aLL Im new around here,

I have aa question!

I kno I can copy a loop once by holding "control" and then right-click and drag the loop to the next bar, but I don't want to do that 1000 times!

Please, how do I copy a 4 bar loop 1000 times in a row, or better yet, how can I copy all 6 of my tracks which are each 4 bar loops, 1000 times so I get 1000 bars of nonstop music to record vocals over?

thanks alot of bunch!

I would like to ask the same question, but for PT. A mate of mine showed me a short cut key for this but it slipped my mind.

Highlite your region/edit/copy/paste/ scroll down to repeat and enter the number of times you want to copy your region.
Its cake.

It's even easier then pro-tools!

Simply right-click on a clip, select "duplicate" and type the number of times you would like to duplicate the clip! You can also have the clip evenly spaced if you so choose, in that same screen.

The Audition interface is so much easier and more intuitive then Pro-Tools, for multi-tracking as well, Pro-Tools is really for people who want to put on airs. It's outdated and clunky, and you will make better music with something more intuitive. AA3 has a better workflow, and superior audio editing tools along with above average multi-tracking in one easy-to-use package without the need to keep sinking money into it.

PT doesn't even have some of the professional tools that come standard with audition, unless you supplement pro-fools with the use of inferior "plug-ins".

yes...I was on the same journey once, many many years ago, and a little paperclip told me of the combination of the CONTROL, C and V keys, being helpful for such tasks. I found the keys with the aid of a trusty set of eyes and fingers, and it spend up my quest considerably. And then I saved my game.

yea it's easy to just control+c and control v a single track/clip, but to do multiple tracks at once some weird sh1t happens.

I selected 2 tracks, copied them and tried to paste to the next bar, and all da sudden it moved one of the bottom tracks (like 13 or 29) up to below the 1st track and pasted it there, so it pasted one clip in track 1 and then it's creating a new track for 2nd track every time i try to paste both at once.

But the other way is easier anyway, now to try to find out if i can do it with mulstiple tracks simultaneiously ----> meep meep ppiiiiiyarrrraiihhmmm -->>>

Highlight the region, press apple+"D" really really quickly.

Or, if your region begins at 0:00:00.000, highlight the region, press apple+"D", hold shift and press Return (to highlight the new region and the old one), press apple+"D" (to dup two regions), hold shift and press Return (highlighting four regions), press apple+"D", and so forth. Every time you repeat this, you'll double the amount of regions you're duping, which makes loooong dups fairly painless.

You can do the same thing by duping, holding shift while selecting the first region, and duping, holding shift while selecting the first region, and so forth. This way is good for when your regions don't begin at 0:00:00.000.

Although, if you ask me, the IDEAL thing to do is NOT MAKE MUSIC THAT IS A THOUSAND ****ING BARS OF THE SAME GOD DAMNED THING!!!!!!
