Calling out real engineers!

i need a certified engineer to MASTER this album im working on, all the beats are seperated and vocals im just doing minor adjustments to it and have 2 more tracks to record. but im trying to get it released by end jan 2010 so im looking for rates and a excellent portfolio this cds going to the middle east and america, asia, europe so i need a very hot mix AND MASTER. i also need a trusty person who wont leak my stuff, im located in houston, texas but will work with anyone outside of houston. let me know.

There's a lot of people in Houston that could do this for you. Put a thread in the proper forum and you'll get plenty of local responses.

do you get a certificate and everything?!

Sorry...don't want to derail things, the idea of engineers being "certified" is just funny.

Selling lots of records is no guarantee of quality either. Showreel is I guess.

Almost self-evidently, "certified" means "has a recognisable qualification in" - hence the similarity to the word "certificate".

You're defining "competent" which is arguably the word the OP should have used - maybe along with "talented", "experienced" and "creative".

There's not really a certificate to show engineering competency, maybe the closest is a tonmeister degree (can't see many hip hop engineers with one, not that every tonmeister can mix hiphop).
