| Gear interested | quantisizing in cool edit pro?
Hello all! I just signed into this site in the hope that some of you could enlighten me as to whether it's possible to quantisize in cool edit pro? I never used quantisizing before - partly because i've been to lazy to investigate the tecnique, and partly because my fellow musicians always insisted that the music dies, whenever quantisizing. Nevertheless, after having read some threads in this forum i've gained the interest to try it out - still the fact remains that untill now i have worked only with cool edit pro. Is it posssible to quantisize in this program?

I recently discovered a few features that I didn't realize existed for my first 2 years working with Cool Edit. One is the equivalent of ProTools' "tab to transient" and the other actually gives you dotted red lines at each transient on the track. While I don't think Cool Edit has a plugin like Beat Detective that will quantize automatically, these features can definitely help you to do some manual quantizing . |
