| I'm looking to buy a new software synth with eletronic type sounds and the "dreamy" pad type sounds. I've been told Omnisphere and Titan are good, any suggestions on other or better ones? Thanks FOR PRO TOOLS |

| Omnisphere sux!! Most sounds are either too cheesy or too complex, they take too long to load and the organization is retarded IMO. Blue by Rob Papen and believe it or not Xpand I've found are really good.

| Gear addict | Someone said omnisphere sucks? Lmaoaoo24524131324142453oaoaoaoao Ok, Dreamy landscapes? Sytrus Seriously. For Ni, it would have to be the Fm8, and not massive..i tend to think of massive more so bass and lead and SY then pads..i dunno why And gladiator, probally, if you looking for the gates and arps and trance joints. Nexus is just one of those we dont speak of.

| I appreciate all of the help! Unfortunately most of your suggestions aren't RTAS synths but FM8 and Rapture are so I decided on those. |

| Strange, this was exactly what I was going to post. Nexus has a lot of heavily processed "dreamy" sounding presets for pads, pianos, etc. In my opinion, the presets are a little too processed, but they give you a good idea of what's possible. Sylenth1 has a great sound as well. Firebird and Gladiator have a very heavy sound to them which I love, although the presets have been over used in my opinion by Timbo and Danja. (just listen to Kerri Hilsons album and you will hear 80% of the Gladiator and Firebird presets...) |
