copy bars duplicates everything in the sequence between the chosen bars.
copy events lets u choose the track u want to copy, what specific notes, and whether or not u want to merge or replace midi data

ok THanks, i was also wondered why is it when i copy bars, its adds more bars than i asked???? like for example, i make a beat in track 1 for 4 bars, now i copy those bars and paste them from 5, that gives me a total of 8 bars now.
So now i move onto track 2, make a paino part for 4 bars and copy those 4 and paste from 5, that should give me 8 bars RIGHT? BUT i gEt a TOtal of 12 bars, it seems like it had copied track 1 with a exra 4 bars..automaticly.... is that normal?

ok so after track one u have an eight bar loop. assuming once u moved onto track two you are listening to track one, and only play the piano part for four bars. so now you have the last four bars blank on track two.
use copy events, select bars one to four on track two and copy them in at bar 5.
before you were copying the whole sequence between bars 1 to 4 and kept inserting an additional copy before bar 5. this keeps adding bars to the entire sequence. using copy events is the way to go. hope that makes sense
