Danja Handz Session "We Takin' Over" + engineer (link inside)

Whats up everybody?

I thought this was sick especially because it is not some sloppy video.
Props to Remix Mag for creating this.

Check it out (listen on monitors if you can):

Have fun!

Yeah saw this a while back.

Cats i came up with was using Vanguard full body until a few of its successors hit the scene....like in 2005

But definitely was one of the better sounding VA's there was.

I find it interesting that the layers he is using for drums he pays or has other engineers come up for him.

Kinda takes the sport out of it? But maybe increases workflow.

I wish ms lago (even in magazines) stopped dropping so much vague advice.

"Oh yeah we just you know adjust the EQ...no secrets...you know i use like 10 EQs...you just gotta you know, do what it do with the EQ to get the sound you like"

Wow? Really...is that how you got your sound?

I actually met Danja once. I was working at a Sam Ash in King of Prussia. He stopped in and bought some stuff. He came up to the counter and I rung him up. He wipped out a stack. I said "wow, what do you do for a living?" having no idea who the heck he was. He said "I'm a musician." I said "Congratulations."

The sales person came up to me and asked if I knew who he was, because I was the "Hip Hop" guy. Mind you this was like six years ago. I said no. She said he worked with Timbaland, etc. etc. So yeah, I met him and had no clue who the hell he was. Go figure.

Me either... Especially somebody of his caliber... He probably just got finished with a session and got paid cash... You know rappers don't carry plastic, unless there's some "greens" in it...

I don't mean to steal the OP's thunder, but why not just watch the video? Same quality, but you can "see" them... Old stuff, but still worth watching again.... Plus, you can watch the other 2....

The main thing I heard is what I've been telling my people about VSTi's...its not that they sound better or worse than analog synths, it gets to a point where they are better for the workflow. Lot of people give me crap for selling a studio full of analog synths but I have no regrets at all.
