Thread Starter | mp3's do you mix them whats Good im lovin this hip hop forum, heres my question. do most producers actually mix there mp3's I am new to emailing audio files,but im starting to see how it can save me time and money when dealing with a & r reps,managers and everybodyelse. in my studio i have yamaha 03d board,mackie hr824s,joemeek vc1q,lexicon mpx1,t.c. electroncic finalizer96,dbx driverack studio 2custom built pcs 3 pulsarcards in 1 rme box,1uad card,1 tc powercore in the main pc. software nuendo 2.2,acid 5.0,reason 3.0,wavelab4.0,soundforge 6.0,vegas 4.0, cd architect,waves diamond bundle,sonic timeworks,princeton reverb,many refills,many sample cd's i have been making music for over 10 years(hip hop,r-n-b,neo soul,rap/rock)and im totally new internet music. 1.what software do you use for eqing mp3's. 2. do you just use your computer speakers or what. thank you ONE |

| i don't think there is even one mp3 on any computer I own except for stuff I downloaded from this forum to check out people's tracks. Sorry, i can't help! If i were making mp3s though, I guess I would use Itunes or Logic to bounce to mp3. |

| Lives for gear | When I make mp3's to send to clients, I usually just use Roxio's "Audio Central" here at the house to encode the mp3's. The files I use to make mp3's are the regular mixes or rough mixes that I've made cd's of. I just convert them to mp3's. No special eq'ing or mixing at all.
