| Mid Side vocal tracking Hey everyone,are many people here using ms mic teqhniques for recording vocals and backing vocal? Just interested as a lot of people are doing this with great results for other music. |

| I do more live than studio, but will thorw this in: with MS recording, if it is ever played in mono (such as radio or web small files) the side will completely disappear. With XY you lose nothing in mono, if the placement is good, so unless you understand why you would want MS be careful - and maybe do some experiments for yourself and see! |
